AI Institute (in preparation)

In the upcoming new year, the Academy plans to establish the CORE Scientific Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI Institute) to address the challenges and opportunities that science and technology face in this rapidly evolving field. The Center will bring together scholars with a shared interest in AI, supporting both interdisciplinary study and theoretical as well as applied research. Relevant research areas include AI Governance and Security, Applications of AI Technologies, AI and Digital Humanities, AI for the Sciences, Computing Power for AI, and both traditional and emerging fields of engineering, mathematics, and information sciences related to AI. The Center will serve as an international hub, enabling researchers and practitioners to advance AI for the future of scientific discovery. Its mission is to facilitate the seamless integration of science and AI, driving innovative collaboration across industries, governments, and academia.
