I sincerely congratulate the entire Azerbaijani scientific community on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). This anniversary is not only a symbol of a glorious scientific path, but also an inspiring milestone for new scientific achievements.”

According to AZERTAC, these words were said by Professor Li Lei, Council Member of the CORE Academy (Hong Kong), at the gathering dedicated to the 80th anniversary of ANAS.

“I recall with great pleasure our meeting in China with Academician Isa Habibbayli, President of ANAS, and I believe that these contacts create a solid foundation for expanding our mutual scientific cooperation. In the future, I see great potential for implementing joint research and innovation projects between the CORE Academy and Azerbaijani scientists.

Initiatives related to global science, strengthening trust in the exchange of information, training young scientists, establishing joint laboratories, and developing international academic methodologies all serve to build a more open, inclusive and effective system of global cooperation. Our aim is also to strengthen regional ties in these areas.

The points I have listed represent leading directions in world science and contribute to the growth of countries’ economic well-being. We hope that science and technology will be further strengthened and that humanity will no longer face insoluble common global problems,” Professor Li Lei noted.
